It was a cold, rainy day in Minnesota yesterday, so I tromped out to the garden in the mud to dig up some fresh potatoes and onions so I could whip up a Minnesota fresh dinner. I did not have recipe in mind, just the amazing aroma of the ham in my oven and the fresh produce strewn across the counter top. I came up with a chowder which consisted of garden potatoes, onion and sweet corn; also fresh baked ham and bacon. The chowder turned out amazing, and could not have been more comforting on a drizzly summer day in Minnesota! Look for more fresh meals as the produce continues to grow!
